Bill and Steph believe very strongly in professional attitudes and a very positive outlook. With this theory, your spirits are lifted during the time spent with your designer. They and the staff at Manhattan East take the time to educate you in all your hair and skin care needs and possibilities. All staff are carefully selected and trained. A testament to their management quality is they never have to advertise for help. People come to them requesting positions. All applicants have to graduate from cosmetology school and have a positive attitude. Skills can be refined on the job with respect to how to cut hair, but a positive attitude must come from within. New stylists work next to Stephanie for two years to assure they are aligned with the philosophy and attitude. With the philosophy of having employees and clients be the first priority, the business has grown and continues to be successful for which they are very grateful.
